There are not too many people like Anne Frank, not everyone thinks like her. Wars are not good for us because they are made by sad and angry people who kill other men. Many of these men have a wife, sons and daughters to support. The family of the soldier needs to be strong and united so they can accept if the parent doesn't come back. Something like that happened to Anne Frank.

Annelies Frank was born on June 12th, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany. The names of her parents were Otto Frank and Edith Frank-Hollander and she had an older sister named Margot. Her father opened a branch of his company in Amsterdam and began planning to bring his family there. The war had started and the family had to move from Germany to another country. In Amsterdam they had to hide in the Secret Annex from the Nazis. Anne wrote in her diary during the 2 years while they were hidden in the Secret Annex. The annex was in the upstairs of a warehouse, but it was clean and orderly.

One day a Dutch collaborator betrayed them and the Nazis caught the family. They were taken to a concentration camp. The concentration camp was an awful place where the Germans kept the Jews working for them in a dirty and unhealthy place with very little food and water. Margot died of sickness and Anne died later in the concentration camp.

Anne Frank is my hero. She impressed me a lot, because she demonstrated that peace and love can be present in any person if they want it. Also she was a very cute girl, that's why I decided to talk about her. After reading her history, it makes you think how there can be so many bad people in the world that separate people by the color of their skin or religion. I was surprised because I don't know why she told all that stuff, about the war, if she was only a kid.

Anne wrote in her diary, "Whoever is happy will make others happy too. Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news. The good news is that you don't know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is!"

This person's influence will affect me in my career by knowing that peace and love one day could change the world. I keep the faith that one day peace will be like the government of all the world and love will be everything we say, act, or think.
