The Red Cross is the world's largest volunteer organisation. Most of the work in Australia is done by volunteers, who do not accept payment for any other their work or donations.

Each year volunteers help more than 200 million people world wide.

The Australian Red Cross helped all of the fire victims during the Victorian bush fires.

If you want to become a volunteer you can contribute to many good causes in Australia. You can contact the Red Cross for information on becoming a volunteer.
