Bill Clinton (https://iaspace.pbworks.com/) |
I got my information on this report from the book “Biography today”. I wrote this essay in honor of Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton has had many defining experiences, memories and accomplishments. Some may never see the world through his eyes, but by reading this, you will.
William Jefferson Blythe IV, or known as Bill Clinton, was born on August 19th 1946. He was born in Hope, Arkansas. His father was killed in an automobile accident only 3 months before Bill was born. His mother’s name is Virginia Blythe, her and Bill have a strong relationship.
Clinton went to St. Johns Catholic Elementary school and Ramble Elementary School. He also attended Hot Springs High School where he was an active student leader, avid reader, and musician. Clinton worked his way through college at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. after finishing his undergraduate degree; Clinton spent two years studying at Oxford University. He completed his formal education by attending Yale University.

In 1978, Clinton was elected his first term as a governor of Arkansas. At 32 he was the youngest governor in the nation. He was reelected in 1981. On October 3rd 1991, Clinton entered the race for President, declaring himself a candidate for the Democratic nomination. That day he presented many of the themes that he has returned to throughout the campaign. Clinton selected Albert Gore as his running mate and secures his party’s nomination at the Democratic convention in July 1992. In the aftermath of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, Clinton teamed up with George Bush to make the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. Clinton was one of the only Presidents to ever be impeached. He was impeached for perjury and obstruction of justice in a scandal with a White House intern, but was subsequently acquitted by the U.S.
One of the defining experiences of Clinton’s life occurred when he was only seventeen. In 1963, he was selected as a delegate to the American Legion boys’ nation convention in Washington D.C. Clinton served as the 42nd President of the United States from 1993 to 2001. At 46 he was the third youngest President. He became the President at the end of the Cold War, and was the first baby boomer President. I have shown you the world in my hero, Bill Clinton's eyes.
