William Henry Gates III or better known as Bill Gates was born on october 28, 1955 in Seattle, Washington. Bill was the son of William Gates and Mary Maxwell. He has two sisters Kristianne and Libby. He was raised with a middle class income. He was competitive as a child when he and his family played board games.

Bill became interested in technology at the early age of thirteen. He chased his passion throughout college when he established a company with Paul Allen. That company is now called Microsoft. Microsoft then became the first software to run on a personal computer when it paired with IBM. By 1983 30 percent of the worlds computers where running Microsoft which by 2011 consisted of more than 70 percent of businesses were running Microsoft.

Bill has become one of the most iconic people of all times. He is currently the number one most richest man in the world according to Forbes Magazine. He has improved the world for many people and has definitely changed technology for the 21st century. Microsoft has changed how to world works as well as impacted everyone who uses his technology's lives.
