A hero to me is not only brave and fearless, but also kind, wise and helpful. Heroes can be from those who fought in wars or a dog that saved his owner from a crocodile. My hero is like many of the heroes. She saves peoples' lives, but she is very close to my heart.

My Mom (I took the picture with my camera) |
My hero is my wonderful, beautiful, fantastic Mom, Beverley Elizabeth Sieben Hunchak. Not only does she help my family, she helps every one, from a dog in the pound (our dog, Sadie) to anyone on the street. My mom works as a RN on the Cardiac Surgery floor of St. Paul’s Hospital.
My Mom was born in July to John and Madeleine in Wilkie, Saskatchewan. But now she lives Ladner, British Columbia. My Mom has 11 siblings, 30 nieces and nephews and 11 brothers and sisters-in-law on her side of the family. When she was growing up she had two cats named Snowy and Blackly. Her family heritage consists of German, Ukrainian and Scottish heritage. My mom is married to my dad, Gordon Alexander Hunchak. She had two beautiful girls, two years apart in age. The oldest is myself, Alyssia Rose Hunchak and the other is my little sister, Anneka Lynn Hunchak.

My Mom's favorite animal (www.servicedogsofvirginia.org) |
My Mom likes so many things. She likes to watch my sister and me play sports. She loves to go to the Hong Kong Inn, Boston pizza and Maguro sushi for dinner. Green is her favourite colour and her favorite animal is a dog. Some things she really hates are the cold temperatures in the gym she goes to, snakes and spiders.
My Mom has saved many people live by helping them while they are in the hospital on my Mom’s floor. My mom is the best in the world, just like my Dad.
