Who is my hero? My hero is Bob Marley. Bob Marley was born February 6, 1945 at a small village of nine mile in Saint Ann Parish. Bob Marley died May 11, 1981 at the age of 36 years old at Miami, Florida, United States. Bob Marley died of malignant melanoma. Melanoma is a type of cancer. Melanoma was found on Bob Marley toe. He went through treatments when he knew he had melanoma but it was too late. Bob Marley was a Jamaican singer, songwriter and musician.

What has my hero done? Bob Marley promoted peace and love probably more than any other recording artist in history. Bob Marley brought us peace and love with his band the Wailers. Bob Marley's biggest hits were No Women, No Cry. Other big hits were Could You Be Loved, One Love, Three Little Bird, Iron Zion. I named the big hits that I like. Bob Marley did something good in my opinion. Bob Marley is a great hero for me because he had cancer and went through the treatments and never gave up. The treatments are hard to go through because my grandma had cancer and she went through treatment too and they were hard for her. Bob Marley is my hero because he never gave up just like my grandma.

Why is my hero important to me? Bob Marley is important to me because Bob Marley had cancer. I can relate to that because my grandma had cancer. Bob Marley went through treatments just like my grandma. They both tried so hard but it was too much for them. My grandma always said, ”Never live the negative way, live the positive way.” That’s one of Bob Marley's quotes. Bob Marley has made a difference in my life. Bob Marley brought peace and love to my life.
