Bette Midler

Bette Midler is my hero because she has been my favorite actress since I was five years old. She does a really good job at what she does. She also does many things besides just acting. She has a beautiful voice and some of her songs speak out to you. She does a lot of comedy too and she is really good at it.

Bette Midler is an amazing actress. She plays in a wide variety of movies and always seems to show her humorous side by cracking jokes in “Hocus Pocus”. She plays a witch who has to suck and absorb the souls of children in order for her to stay alive until morning. Midler plays in more shows for adults like “Down and Out in Beverly Hills.” This show is about a family that takes care of a homeless person. The man lies to the family saying he has done a lot of things and they believe him. Later find out it’s not true and he goes to leave but they don’t want him to so he stays with them.

Switching roles, Midler is also quite talented as a singer and she has a really nice voice. She sings a lot of songs that support our troops like the song “The Rose”. Even though people may think that song is for the movie “The Rose” she said that she made it for the troops. Another great song she sings is “Wind Beneath My Wings”. This song is for the movie that she plays in called “Beaches”. In the movie the song is for Bette Midler’s friend who dies in the end. Midler even compiled a Christmas cd called “Yule Tide”.

Midler travels around to do comedy shows in front of people. They are very funny and you can tell she really tries hard to get people to laugh. I have never been to one of her shows but I have seen one recorded and she is very funny. Some of the jokes she comes up with are really great. The show is called “Divine Madness”, and she sings songs that make fun of old people and tells jokes that make fun of other people who are celebrities.

Bette Midler does a great job acting, singing and making people laugh. I hope to go and see her in person. I have already heard her sing and I have seen her movies and I think it would be amazing to actually meet her in person. She definitely deserves the title hero.
