Barack Obama

My hero is Barack Obama. I am proud to say that I experienced something extraordinary like Obama in my lifetime. Here are some awesome things about him.

Some of the things President Obama did in his lifetime was being the first African-American to be president. He accomplished so many things. Barack became a professor, lawyer, Senator, father, husband, and president. Obama taught for 12 years at the University of Chicago. He was a college student at Harvard Law School. President Obama became a husband to Michelle Obama. He became a father to two daughters- Sasha, the youngest and in 2nd grade and Malia, ten years old and in 5th grade.

President Obama officially won the president's job on November 2, 2008 Tuesday night. But, he actually became president and took the oath on January 20, 2009, a historical moment. Barack gave his famous-president speech at the Plaza in Washington D.C. He was born in Hawaii in 1961.

I chose President Obama Because he worked hard and grew up to be a successful man and America's president. Obama's favorite food is chili. When he's not having meetings, in his free time he likes to play basketball.
