"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek." (Obama).  President Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961. In 1967 Barack and his mom move to Indonesia with their step father. In 1983 Barack graduates Columbia University with exceeding grades. Since he was a great student he was able to get into Harvard Law School in 1988 and it leading up to him as being the first black man to be the president of the prestigious Harvard Law Review. After graduating and being a successful politician in 2008 he was elected as the first black 44th president. Barack Obama is a hero because, he has established accomplishments that have a big impact on our daily lives.

Barack gives up his time and investments to help care for his people and help his country live on.  "Oversaw and then signed a Democratic bill constituting the most sweeping food safety legislation since the Great Depression."(PTCT). This proves that Barack is caring because it shows that Barack is trying to keep us healthy and get the certain nutrients we need for our bodies. People may be thinking the opposite because "A record 20% of Americans were on food stamps in 2013."(Town Hall) This may make Barack look like he isn't doing a good job, but he has created a safer environment for people. Now people just need to do their part so they can live a good life.

Although Barack Obama cares for his country he works hard to keep it alive. Barack Obama works hard in order for us to have a safer and a better life. "After five presidents over a century failed to create universal health insurance, signed the Affordable Care Act (2010). " (Washington Monthly) Evidence that Barack is showing that he is hard working because he did something for the good of all of us that five presidents couldn't. Also "The terrorist leader was killed and a trove of al-Qaeda documents was discovered."(Barack Obama Timeline) Although it isn't right to kill any kind of human being. But negotiating with terrorists are not good to do. The death of Bin Laden is hard work because it took time and effort to find that man, for the safety of our people.

Barack's accomplishments that impact our daily lives, makes him a hero. He achieved things that help people throughout his presidency. Barack Obama has helped my life by passing documents allowing middle class people to have an equal advantage in life. He has certainly made many lives happier and made his own as well.
