Britney is a singer. She was born on 8 December in 1981. She was born in Mississippi and raised in Louisiana. She is an actress. She played in the move Crossroads. She started with her career when she was eight years old. When she was eight years old she wanted to sing in the All New Mickey Mouse Club but she was turned down. So when they turned her down she went to an off-Broadway show Ruthless. She was in that show for 2 years, she had a title role. Then she auditioned again for The All New Mickey Mouse Club. She was accepted when she was old eleven years old. When she was thirteen she went back to the high school.

She has an older brother Brian and a younger sister Jamie-Lynn. Her father is James Parnell Spears, a building contractor. Her mother is Lynne Irene Bridges she is a former school teacher.
She married with Kevin Federline on September 18, 2004 and has two sons with him but on 7 November in 2006, she got divorced from her husband Kevin.

She has won a lot of awards. She was nominated for Grammy Award; she also holds a title in the Guinness World Records for Best Selling Teenage Artist. She was also given a star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood.
