Hello! Want to hear of a hero that is my favorite? She has much faith. She loves to go on missions to help people. She also loves to surf. I admire her so much for her courage! She is the best girl ever!!!!! Little children love her. So, who do you think my hero is?

         My hero is Bethany Hamilton!!!!! Yay! She lives in Oahu, Hawaii. She  loves to help kids be happy by helping them overcome hard things that have happened to them. She was born February 8^th, 1990. At 13 years of age,a tiger shark bit most of her arm off. Before this incident, she was an amazing surfer.

         When Bethany's arm healed, she made a difference in people's lives. She went to Thailand after a tsunami happened. She went there to comfort and care for the people who were injured. As for the kids, she helped them conquer their fear of the water after the tsunami. Soon, thanks to Bethany, the children were out on their boards surfing in the waves.

Jeremiah 29:11: - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This is Bethany Hamilton's favorite verse. She planned to go to Thailand to change somebody's life, and she did.

God helped her through the pain of losing her arm and brought her to do good things in many lives. "Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.""Hi" - Shakespeare.

Well, there you have it. Bethany is my hero and always will be. She made great choices. She went through a horrible incident and used it to help people. She then depended on God to take care of her. She  was very courageous 13-year-old girl.
