My Hero

His nickname was The Homerun King.  He had 714 homeruns in his career.  Can you guess who this Hall of Fame baseball player is?  It's Babe Ruth!  Babe's life span was from 1895-1948.  He was born on February 16, 1895 in Baltimore, Maryland and died on August 16, 1948.   Babe had many major accomplishments in his life.

Major Accomplishments

One of his major accomplishments was that he was a 7 time World Series Champion.  When he was on a team with the Yankees he won the World Series in the years 1925, 1927, 1928, and 1932.  When he was on the Boston Red Sox team he helped win the World Series in the years 1915, 1916, and 1918.   Another one of his many accomplishments is that Babe Ruth was named the greatest baseball player of all time.  The final accomplishment is that he set a record of 714 homeruns during his career.  One of the obstacles that he had to overcome was that he had to be extremely good at baseball or else he wouldn't have won all of those World Series.  Another obstacle that he had to overcome was that he had to be able to hit the ball about every time he was at bat or else he couldn't have had that many career homeruns.

Hero Traits

          Some of the many Character traits are that he was very famous.  He was very famous because he had so many records.  Another trait is that he was very strong.  He had to be very strong so he could hit the ball so far.  The final trait that I have is that he was astonishing.  He was astonishing because he held over 60 records.

Conclusion

If you didn't know that much about the world famous Babe Ruth, I hope that you have learned more or something that you haven't learned before.
