I chose Brian Waters because he won the Walter Peyton Award for not only skill on the field but because he donates time and money to the community off the field. He has his own charitable organization called Brian Waters 54 Foundation that donates to all charities in need of money. Brian possesses the qualities of charity and good leadership. He is also Peaceful, loving, and donates a lot of time and money.
Brian Waters is a hero because he donates time and money to his community and he goes out of his way to help people. The Earthquake in Haiti inspired him. He adopted a child from Haiti whose house was destroyed by the earthquake. Also, he has inspired many children to get out and play with his NFL play 60 campaigns.
Brian Waters makes a difference every year. He builds houses for homeless children and serves as a spokesman for the Kansas City Chiefs and NFL outstretch campaigns. Since 2004 he has awarded 82 college scholarships to under-privileged kids. Also he and his wife are currently sponsoring 6 children at a homeless shelter in Kansas City.
Brian Waters is an excellent leader who is very peaceful and loving. But most of all he gives back to the community and cares about others instead of himself. Instead of buying a new car, he donates the money to charity. Whether it’s donating to local food drives, building homes for the homeless, or playing in the Pro Bowl, Brian Waters is definitely a hero.
