Steve Ballmer

Steve Ballmer, a man of knowledge, leadership, genius, is known for his work of leading Microsoft through its tough days. Steve was a hard worker since he was a teen showing that he really wants to be successful in life. He thought about school and taking it seriously when he made it up to High School. There he studied and learn as much as he could through the 4 years until he attend at Harvard University.

Steve amazed his college professors with his genius. He was able to do math with very little or no mistake 99% of the time. His professors saw something in him that they didn’t see in other students. Steve was the type of person who will turn out to lead others. And his interest in learning will get him further than he had ever imagined.

While at Harvard Steve meet a redheaded young man down the hall named William Henry who is known as Bill Gates. Bill was somewhat completive to Steve; the two would try to compete with each other through math, science, computers, etc. But the two were no better than the other; they both stand at the same ground in the scorebook. When Harvard first receive their first computer the two geniuses quickly sign up to use it and learn the computer language call assembly. Bill found computer to be interesting and revolutionizing the world in a way that no one could imagine, and it did. Bill gates then went off to build a company called Microsoft which later became one of the most successful company of all time.

While Bill went off and start Microsoft, Steve stayed and graduated from Harvard with a degree then later joined Microsoft. Steve made a big change in Microsoft with the idea of hiring more programmers to make their operating system which will run on most computers in the future. Bill was afraid of the idea because it might bring Microsoft to the point where they might come to the point where they will be bankrupt. They simply couldn't provide he money needed to do so, but somehow they were able to and they made a breakthrough with Windows 3.1 which brought computer to the next level. The suggestion that Steve made was a brilliant idea that brought Microsoft up.

Many years later, in 1995 Microsoft made a breakthrough with the release of Windows 95 which really started the computer revolution. Windows 95 turned Microsoft into Micro$oft with its outstanding sales of the operating system and bringing in billions into Microsoft. Bill then turned into the richest man in the world. Steve who was in on the money as well became one of 100 richest people in the world. Throughout Steve's years at Microsoft, he brought some goods to the company and the company did the same back for him. He became a very successful man because of his genius, work ethic, and attitude. So that's why I'm proud to choose Steve Ballmer now known as C.E.O. of Microsoft as my hero.
