Victoria Pyle's hero: HER DAD My dad is my hero because one night my neighbour's house caught on fire. It's a good thing my mum and dad were awake or else we would have been badly injured. Well, as I was saying, my dad carried us all out in the car and drove us to safety. But a hero just doesn't save you. It is a person who influences your life as well as helping you when you are in need. My dad is always supporting me in everything that I try to do. He taught me how to ride my bike and play chess and he also coaches my soccer team! I would hope that everyone could have a person like my dad as a hero in their life. My dad does not fly nor does he spin a web like a spider can and he is definitely not faster than a speeding bullet. He is much more then all that. He is my hero and he is my dad!
Tony Nguyen's hero: HIS DAD My hero is my dad because he is the nicest dad ever! I also know that he loves me! He is my hero because he saved me from drowning. He is the best hero in the world. I think he is the nicest person I've ever seen. I love him the second most. Sometimes I get mad at him and then I hate him but then we work things out. Good thing he saved me from drowning because I could've died. Good thing he can swim. He is a good swimmer and he can swim fast too. I like him the way he is.
Dylan Riley's hero: J.K. ROWLING J.K. Rowling is my hero because...#1 she's a great writer. #2 most importantly she's a great person. I admire her most because she wrote all her books by hand and I could never do that. J.K. Rowling was a single mother when she wrote all the Harry Potter books in a cafe while her daughter was napping. In my old school there was a little girl named Natalie McDonald. She had cancer. She also loved Harry Potter books. J.K. Rowling became penpals with Natalie and even put her name in the fourth book! She died when she was 9 and J.K Rowling is still friends with her mother. I think these things make J.K. Rowling a great person. That's why she's my hero.
Cassie Robinson's hero: HER COUSIN STACY Because she is nice to everybody, also she has taught me to look for the good in people. Not the bad.
Adrienne Ross'hero: HER PARENTS My heroes are my parents because they have always suppported me throughout my life. Even now, as an adult, I have a strong connection with them. Last year I started my first year of teaching. It was really tough at times but with my parents understanding and unconditional love, I was able to work through the challenges! My parents are two of my best friends. Of course, our relationship has changed over the years and our time together is much different. They treat me as their equal and we learn form each other. I would like to say to my parents thank you for just being there and for helping me to reach my potential. I am not sure who their heroes are but I imagine they would be strong role models who treat people with respect and kindness. I hope that when I have children, I can be the parent that my parents were to me.
