Ansonia Town Seal

My hero is my Grandma, Madeline Bottone. My Grandma is the town clerk of the city of Ansonia. I think that that is so cool. My Grandma is a lot like me. At City Hall (which is where she works), you have to be social. You can't just be quiet as a mouse. So my Grandma's job is perfect for her. She is the most social person that I know! I feel really special knowing that my Grandma is the Town Clerk. She helps out with the town. My Grandma always gets people what they need and when they need it. That is what I just admire and love about her. She always has a smile on! Whether she has a headache or something else like that, she always acts the same way (which is the most loving way, you can think of!)

My Grandma is so generous. She always shares things with me. Even when she has her favorite thing, she offers it to me. I think that that is a great quality of hers. That's a quality of hers that I didn't get from her. I mean, I share, but not my favorite things.

My Grandma is a sports fan, just like I am. She watches the World Series, the Super Bowl, UConn games, as well as many others. I also love that about her. Watching games with her is so much fun. She gets so into it! We share that quality! We both like the same teams, too! My Grandma used to bowl but she hurt her knee, so she stopped. She was a really great bowler. I love her bowling name, "Mal."

Games we like to play

I really love sleepng over my Grandma's house. I especially like it when it's just her and me. When I'm at my Grandma's house, or just with her, I feel so safe. When I sleepover at my Grandma's house, we play games eat my favorite dinner and watch movies. We like to play Monopoly, Trival Pursuit JR, Sorry, Wheel of Fortune, and a lot of other ones, too. I like to watch game shows with her: Super Market Sweep, Family Feud, Pyramid, and Wheel of Fortune. We like to watch comedy movies!

When I'm with my Grandma, I forget about all my troubles. I can't even explain the feeling that I get. It's a really amazing feeling. That feeling never goes away when I'm with her. I just love her so much. She has been through so much. I really don't know how she does it. She is a SUPER GRANDMA! My Grandma Madeline is my super, incredible, amazing, hardworking, generous, social, beautiful, and loving hero and she will always be!
