Kobe was born August 23, 1978.The reason I chose Kobe Bryant as my hero is because basketball is my favorite sport and Kobe Bryant is a really fantastic basketball player. As a child, Kobe’s father Joe Bryant was a famous basketball player.

A few years later Kobe and his family moved to Italy. The reason they moved to Italy is because his dad was switched to another team. Since Kobe moved, he had to learn a new language. So every day after school, Kobe and his two sisters Shaya and Sharia would meet and teach each other the language. He was able to speak Italian pretty well within a month. His father became one of the big stars in Italy basketball. He would love it when his grandparents would record basketball games for him to watch.

Kobe’s father, Joe Bryant and his uncle, Chubby Bryant taught him how to play basketball and he tried out for the team and he made it. In the high school prom, Kobe and Brandy went together. As Kobe got older and better at basketball he was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers and he’s on that team now.
