Me and Christie Scott

Any modern day hero should be thoughtful, trustworthy, and determined and those are the exact characteristics of my hero, Christie Scott. My hero is thirty-three years of age and lives in Seagrove where she was born and raised. She attended Southwestern Randolph High School where she graduated. Scott is a wonderful mother of two beautiful kids. To many she may be just an ordinary person but to me she is a hero and likewise my friend

From the time I met her she has always been like a best friend to me. She is always giving me advice on relationships, friendships, and any other problems I am facing. When I’m having bad day I can count on her to comfort me and try her best to make everything right even if it is beyond her reach. She not only helps me, she helps many others that are having problems which makes me appreciate her even more.

The thing that I respect her for the most is her trustworthiness. I know I can tell Scott anything and it is going to stay between us unless I tell her she can say anything to anyone. There are some things that I do not want to tell anyone but I need to get off my mind. She is always there to listen to my problems and consult me the best she can.

I also look up to her because of her determination. When she sets her mind to something she does it. If she doesn’t achieve her goal, she tries and tries again. If I am talking to her about a problem, she is determined to fix it or get as close as she possibly can because she is a true friend. She said “When it helps you and makes you happy, it makes me even more determined to help you out in the future".

Her thoughtfulness, trustworthiness, and determination are only a couple of the wonderful things about her. She has inspired me to be a better person on the inside and I am so thankful to know that she is always there for me. I will always remember what she says “Always keep your faith no matter what you’re going through.”
