Christina Aaron

by AnnaRose from Georgia

Mrs. Aaron is my hero because she is really nice, smart, honest, and has a great sense of humor. She has taught me so many things that I never knew, and probably would have gotten me into a lot of trouble when I become an adult if I did not know them. I have known her for about six months as my Language Arts teacher. Mrs. Aaron is my favorite teacher here at Savannah Country Day School, and is the best teacher I have ever had in my whole entire life (I have had a lot). If Mrs. Aaron weren’t one of the 5th grade teachers, I would probably shrivel up and die of sadness right there on the floor. That sure is saying something about her!

Mrs. Aaron has done many things to be my hero. For example she has taught me so many things that will help me. She is also extremely nice for all the things she’s done. It takes a lot of courage to be a teacher and Mrs. Aaron has pulled it off EXTREMELY well. After my mom came to that 5th grade parent/teacher meet and greet type of thing I asked my mom who her favorite teacher was, and she said Mrs. Aaron. Whenever I walk into the L.A room and I see Mrs. Aaron, it makes me really happy. One thing that Mrs. Aaron taught me that is very important is to be on time. One time I was eight minutes late to one of her classes and she told me not to do it again. It wasn’t mean, it was teaching me a lesson. I want to thank her for that.

Mrs. Aaron has a lot in common with the Greeks. She’s strong (but not like Heracles!), wise (more than Athena) and heroic (like all the heroes). The thing that’s good about that is all of those traits are great. She is smart, funny, generous, and very giving and brave. Like I said before I would probably die of sadness if Mrs. Aaron were not my teacher. She has made L.A. a fun class. It used to be my least favorite subject but now, it’s my favorite. Mrs. Aaron, hands down, is my favorite teacher and my hero.
