Charlotte Dujardin is a British professional horsewoman. She was born on the 13th of July in 1985 in Enfield. She lives in Newent in Great Britain. She is an athlete, a coach and a horse trainer.
She began riding at the age of two and took up dressage at the age of 13. She wore a helmet instead of a usual top hat at the competition in 2009 after falling and fracturing her skull. She left school at the age of 16 to work for Judy Harvey an international dressage rider and trainer. In early 2007 her mother Jane met Carl Hester and persuaded him to give her daughter lessons.
She is British rider dressage. She was a double gold medalist in individual and team at the London Olympics in 2012 and she became world champion in dressage at the World Equestrian Games 2014 and three world records in dressage.
She was appointed Sports woman of the year by the Sunday Times and Sky Sports, in 2014. She also won BT Sport Action Woman of the Year. She was named Best Athlete in 2013 by the International Equestrian Federation. In 2013, she was made an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.
Charlotte Dujardin is my hero because she is part of an organization called "The Brooke" which helps animals. It helps improve the lives of working horses, donkeys and mules that are in the poorest communities. she is also my hero because she's a great rider and I would like to reach her level and get his career one day.
