A hard working cowboy

His life started out simple. No one would have guessed that he would become one of the greatest actors of our time. He was a big baby weighing 11 pounds 6 ounces at birth. His parents named him Clint Eastwood, Jr. His family moved a lot when he was growing up. After graduating from high school, he worked as a swim instructor and lifeguard for the military. A few years later he moved to California and that is when his acting career began.

He plays in a lot of western movies. The names of the ones he played in are The Good the Bad and the Ugly that was made in 1966, Hang 'Em High (1968), A Fistful of Dollars (1964), and For a Few Dollars More (1965). He played in a TV series Rawhide. Some other movies he had played in are In the Line of Fire, City Heart, Every Which Way but Loose, Paint Your Wagon, Where Eagles Dare, The Witches, Ambush at Cimarron Pass, The First Traveling Saleslady, Star in the Dust, and Francis in the Navy.

He was voted the 16th Greatest Movies Star of All Time. Some of the awards he has one are 2004 Opus awards, 1996 ASCAP, many Oscar he has won. Also many Fotogramas de Plata.( best foreign film) He has won the Golden Globe. He is a three time winner of the Sant Jordi Awards.

He didn't become working as an actor until 1955. He almost gave up on acting before getting his big break on the TV series Rawhide where he was a supporting cast member for six years. This proved to be a turning point in his career. He has been an actor, director, musician, and singer. Clint Eastwood has also been a positive role model.

Clint Eastwood is my hero because he is the perfect example of a cowboy. He is always a gentleman to the ladies. He fights for those who are being bullied and are weak. He stands up for others and isn't afraid of anyone. He comes in, takes care of business and then leaves. This is my idea of the perfect hero.
