A hero is a person admired for their achievements and noble qualities. Clara Hale is a hero to me because she took in children that weren’t hers and took care of them like they were her own. This means to me that she is a responsible adult who helped other people who wouldn’t take responsibility for there own children’s life. What motivated Clara Hale to be a hero was her mother because when her mother died she was an orphan. She changed the world by taking in children that had aids and who where ill. That’s what saved many of them from DYING. She protected children from HIV. So this is why she’s my hero!!!!!!

Clara McBride was born on April 1, 1905 in Elizabeth City in North Carolina. She was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. When she was sixteen her mother passed away, leaving her as an orphan. When she finished high school alone, she married Thomas Hale. Soon after the couple moved to New York which was where he ran a business and went to college while she worked as a janitor. They had three children - Lorraine, Nathan, and Kenneth. Soon after that, her husband Thomas Hale had passed because he was diagnosed with cancer leaving her and their children. Soon after that she opened her home to childcare services to children whose parents worked during the day. Soon the children became hooked to her.
Clara Hale has helped many children for example in New York 1973 she $250,000 to help the children with aids. She had many occupations such as she was a social teacher. Instead of reading books she took care of children. Clara Hale is a lifesaver because she helped children from all over the world. Soon after she had opened her home to children, it became a permanent home for some children.
She had many character counts traits. Trustworthy because she had people trust her with their children. Caring because she took care of them. Responsible because she fed them and bathed them. She also had great citizenship.
That’s why she’s my hero. She’s responsible for other people’s children. She’s admired for her noble qualities. So would she be your hero?
