Some people believe that everyday heroes are not very easy to come by these days, but they just do not know what to look for. Cops and firefighters are the biggest everyday heroes you can find. My hero is Clinton Martinez; he is a police officer in Socorro, New Mexico. He is the reason I want to become a cop, and he showed me everything I know, like driving, throwing knives, shooting, and just being a decent person. He is the best cop I have had the pleasure of knowing. The fact that he is willing to put everything on the line to protect civilians is just astounding, and that is why he is not only my brother-in-law, but also my hero.
