"There's no talent here, this is hard work, this is an obsession. Talent does not exist, we are all equals as human beings. You could be anyone if you put in the time. You will reach the top, and that's that. I am not talented, I am obsessed." The quote said by McGregor after winning his first ufc title being the underdog of the fight. Conor McGregor, born on July 14, 1988 in a small town in Ireland called Dublin. McGregor's parents who weren't the wealthiest and Conor not the brightest in school resulted him in becoming a plumber at a young age. Yet this didn't stop McGregor, while he was a plumber he was also taking mma classes where he later decided he would put all of his time into it and the rest is history. My hero possess the traits to make someone successful out of nothing. Conor McGregor is a hero because he has the traits of being courageous and he's always true to his word and determined while he's working.

Conor McGregor was courageous his whole life to be brave enough to not shy away from many challenges. Conor McGregor shows great character after he loses his first ufc fight. He discusses that he won't ever shy away from his flaws. "I will never shy away from a challenge," McGregor said. "I will never shy away from defeat. This is part of the game. I am happy to come out there, continue and stay in this fight. I had many chances to not do this and sit and wait. But I went in, I took the fight and it didn't pay off. This is the fight business. It's another day. I'll come back." The challenges that Conor faces don't affect him mentally but he pushes thought the challenge to make him stronger. Like many other fighters who don't take the fight on short notice, McGregor will never back away and will always take the challenge with no excuse. McGregor shows how he will never shy away from his defeats. He took the loss like a man and didn't try to make it seem like it was his fault but he owned up to his mistakes and showed great character when he did that. Although he can stay in his own division and defend it he want to go above and beyond to make himself the best."According to Kavanagh, Edgar, Diaz and Oliveria will have to wait, as his prized pupil will look to become the UFC's first-ever simultaneous two-division champion by taking on dos Anjos in his next fight."McGregor isn't settling for one belt, he wants keep the challenge so that people will always remember him. He doesn't care about one division he wants to conquer all the divisions above him. He wants to show he's the best and wants to get every belt he can get possible for him to show that he's the best here. He is looking to the future and want to become the best ever not the best in the time he is in now.

McGregor's determination and hard work shows his words aren't cheap. When Conor says something he doesn't just let his words go away he marks his words down and when it comes down to his part he does it and all his talk comes true. "I have a deep, deep belief that if I tell you I'm going to crack you with a clean shot to the chin inside one minute of the first round and you will be unconscious, well, then that's what will happen.... I let [my opponent] know. I let the world know. Then I put it in a time frame. Then I go out and do it."When Conor sets his mind to something he will put anything he can to make it true. What he predicts before the fight he will do. He works hard to keep his word about what he says.He believes in every word that he says and shows that his talk comes true. He sets his mind to something and he will always get it done and show to all the people still claiming he just has hype that he can knock anyone out who comes in his way. Conor McGregor said he was going to be the ufc champion since the beginning."The 27-year-old set a new UFC record when he KO'd former pound-for-pound #1 Jose Aldo in just thirteen seconds"This contest took a long time for McGregor because ever since he was new to the UFC he told everybody he's coming here to take over not just to take part. That was Jose's first lost in 10 years. The media shows how McGregor is just all talk and hype. But when he tells everyone what and how he's going to do it. He sets his mind to it and works hard for it to come true so he can prove all the non-believers wrong.

Because of McGregor being courageous and determined he reached his dream where no one would think he could actually complete. Although he might've just made change in his own world he showed how if you want it you can always achieve your goals in life. McGregor showed great determination even though sometimes he thought maybe the people are right about him not being able to do what he's chasing. Quitting as a plumber and putting full-time into fighting was a courageous risk he took because all the time and money he put in that he could've never made it. On the Media he might look like he's all talk but what he does behind the curtain, like training longer than other fighters eating right and always working on his technique, is what shows everyone that he means business. People in the world now can look at Conor seeing that you can always become something out of nothing. Having the mental strength and determination can always make you a step forward than anyone else. Because of McGregor's powerful character traits he overcame many obstacles to show everybody else that they can become what they want to become.
