Carrie Underwood is an American country singer, and to me has an amazing voice. I chose Carrie Underwood as my hero because she has a beautiful voice, and she inspires me.

Carrie Underwood has made a difference in my life because she has showed me that you can achieve many things in life. She accomplished many great things in the music industry, and throughout the world. She became a huge country star, even though she was just a regular person trying out for American Idol, and won. Also, besides her musical talent, she is also a good person on the inside and is a positive role model for others.

Carrie has many characteristics that I admire about her. Fame has not been an obstacle with her faith. She still continues to be Christian like through out her successes. Carrie also supports different charities as well. She is a supporter of The Humane Society, PETA, and the United Service Organization.

Carrie Underwood was born on March 10, 1983. She grew up on her family’s farm in Checotah, Oklahoma. She lived with her mom and dad and her two older sisters. When in her seventh grade year in school people started to notice her vocal talents. In her high school years, she was involved in the school's music programs. When college came around she enrolled at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She did attend there, and she was still taking college classes when her friends thought that she should audition for American Idol. She did audition and on May 25, 2005, it was announced that Carrie Underwood was the new American Idol.

Throughout her rise to fame Carrie kept good morals and continued to be a beautiful person inside and out. She has amazing vocal talent and inspires other people to follow their dreams.
