I admire my Carmelo Anthony because he’s my favorite basketball player and that’s my favorite sport. I have been a fan since he played for Syracuse. I’m actually better than him in basketball because I practiced a lot. I started to play like him and I just got even better.
He is a great basketball player. If you see him in action it looks different than on tv. He plays hard and focuses on his team. He's 6 feet 8 and is a good defensive and offensive player. He’ll make your knees slam together because his crossover is tough. As for blocking shots his height explains it all.
Carmelo was born in The Red Hook projects Brooklyn, New York. Basketball was a turn around for his life. The only activity going around his neighboorhood was drug dealing. His father died of liver disease when he was only three years old. He moved to Baltimore with his mother when he turned eight years old.

His basketball skills on the court has lead to great things on the court and off the court. He has his own sneaker. He's sponsored in many things. With the addition of Anthony, the Nuggets went to an extreme transformation from a non-competitive side to playoff contenders. He's still the best college basketball player of all time.
Anthony continues to make great sucess. He's part of the United States national basketball team. He contributed $1.5 million to the Living Classrooms Foundation. It's a non-profit organization that "provides innovative hands-on-education, job-training and community service programs for over 35,000 children, youth and young adults in the east Baltimore community. He's done commercials. He's done documentarys on his life. He's been through a lot so I guess that's his reward that he worked hard for. He will always be looked at as a person who changed their life for the better.
