Catalina Echavarria

Do you know who my hero is? My hero is Catalina Echavarria. She works for the Bancolombia Foundation. She has worked there for 10 long years. She helps poor people.

I joined the foundation because I wanted to help poor people,” Catalina explained. She works with other companies of Colombia. She thinks she is a hero because she saves poor people's lives. The thing that she likes most is seeing happy faces on poor children.

Catalina told me about a time when she saved poor people who had no food and houses in an earthquake in eje cafetero. She went to the eje cafetero and gave them food, homes, and clothes.

I think she’s a hero because she saved people’s lives. She is my hero and other people’s hero. I think poor people are so so lucky to have a hero like Catalina.
