Ernesto Guevara Delaserna

A child in Cuba's streets, a young man in a Bolivia alley, a backstreet girl in Argentina, an old man who is sitting on the chair in front of coffee shop and in chile, Congo, Angola, and…. All of them wear clothes which have Ernesto's picture …
I remembered that someone told me: I went to Paris and I wanted to buy some posters in front of the Verseilles palace . There were lots of posters : Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and then the poster of Che Guevara! Nicolas Cage, Richard Gere and Che Guevara again… Tom Cruse Matt Damon, Che Guevara …again Che …again Che…!!! What is the secret behind this person that he is eternal inside of the people's heart? What is so interesting about him?

The bell is ringing, it is his last term of PhD, he has received a good proposal from his friends, they wanted to go on a trip and therefore he has to get off one year from the university. He gets out of the class quickly and goes to the yard, out of the school. A person is waiting for him with a 550 cc motorcycle, his name is Granados, his best friend …and their travel starts and nobody really knows what is waiting for them!!!

They start their trip and visit poor Indian fellows in Pro . Later on they go to a place where they take care of lepers, and there, they get into military service, they hang out with patients, play basketball and do whatever they can for them.

Ernesto said ; when I started medical education, I didn't have any revolutionary thoughts. In my dreams, I wanted to be a popular doctor in the whole world, same as others, because I wanted to help people, but then I realized that I couldn't help poor people in Pro because of the lack of medical equipments. I understood that people don’t need a doctor, people need a leader! ...and now the most important thing in my life is helping them…

Cuba is a poor country with poverty and starving people. Cubans were exploited unfairly and if there is someone who fights against the government, they exiled him to some other countries…among these banished people there were two brothers, one of them had a long beard. They were named Fidel and Raol …! And Che Guevara after being with poor people and realizing the unfairness law, he became a solider against the government, and at this time the three brothers joined each other and when was the best time for socialistic revelation but then?!!

“Lie down on the ground!!!....don’t separate from each other…lie down on the ground!!”

While Fidel was shouting powerfully he went back crawling and they were stuck in a swamp.
Their clothes were muddy, he shouted again…”lie down on the ground!”…all of the soldiers were injured …this group consisted of 80 persons but now they were just 15 !!! Che Guevara was the doctor of this group and he was still alive…he raised his head to find out the distance , suddenly a bullet passed over his head and hit the head of the soldier in front of him and Che picked up his gun and now he was a doctor and a partisan troops , too !!!! Che and Fidel Castro were defeated ,they were wandering in the sugar-cane farms for 9 days, till they found their leader…when Fidel saw them the only thing that he said was that:” Up to now, we won the war!”
Charge was continued and Che Guevara and Fidel Castro had lots of plans and they didn’t want to give up. Partisans of Ernesto exploded military trains and they could capture Santa Clara. Fidel partisans captured Havana and after that, step by step, Batista dictatorship government same as another dictatorship government in the centuries, faded away…

People of Cuba have won. The sound of guitars and cheers is heard all over Cuba and all of the partisans rejoice …Fidel shakes his hand for the people …but !!!where is Ernesto?

A man is walking in the room, he looks worried. Suddenly the door is opened and a man that is smoking a cigarette comes in ...the first man whose name is Patris Lomomba laughs and says: ”Hello Che Guevara “!!!!!He is Che Guevara ,in Congo!!!! Actually, his revolutionary idea, didn’t go away and he spent his life traveling and solving problems of the others. He is a real internationalist partisan!!

-I have to say that I never ever think that I’m a foreigner! not in Cuba and not in Congo and none of the countries I‘ve. I felt that I’m Guatemalan when I’m in Guatemala, I’m Proian in Pro, same as now that I feel I’m Cuban and also I’m Argentinean!!!

When he wanted to go to Bolivia , he was the head of the central bank of Cuba but he didn’t like this job and these jobs did not match with his personality, so one day…they found his letter that he had written : other countries need my humble help, so I have to go…

The sound of bullets is heard and Bolivian partisans are stock in blockade of Bolivia government. Suddenly the leader of the group gets injured and the soldiers arrest all of the partisans. They want to kill all of them…all of a sudden, their leader that everybody called Ramon, shouted : Wait !!!My name is Che !!!! When they wanted to kill Che Guevara he bravely shouted : Shoot me, shoot me, you kill just one Che Guevara …!!!!

Nobody believed this has happened…! !!how was it possible????? Can anybody believe that a person who is so brave and smart is killed by the Bolivian soldiers ? They were forced to show his dead body. Even after that, none of the people in all over the world could believe this, till Fidel announced this unpleasant news…

What is death? What do we mean when we say one person is dead? I think we have to say a person is dead when his family and friends forget him quickly. Ernesto Che Guevara is still in our mind even after 40 years. So he isn’t dead …. He knew that he will stay in the heart of other people forever!!! He said : "Whenever in a fight and death surprises you…tell the death: you are WELCOME”!!!!

*The whole story is actually what was in my mind and it’s all in my own words. But I dedicate this immodest writing to the first part of Che's book. And I hope that I could have explaned my hero by this story…
