My older sister, Cheyenne, is a huge hero to me in many ways and she has the traits of a hero too. The most important traits she has are responsible, mentally strong, willing to sacrifice, stands up for others, trustworthy, loyal, and determined. She lives up to all the heroic traits; but those are the main heroic traits. They're also the most important in my opinion. Now, let’s get this started.

She’s responsible in many ways. She takes charge whenever something bad is about to happen. For example; once when I was in danger and scared when she was babysitting me when I was younger, she rescued and helped me right away. She’s the kind of person that I want to be like when I’m older. She’s a great babysitter. I can pretty much rely on her for anything; no matter what it is, I know she’ll do it for me. She lives up to this trait every single day. She always keeps her word and she’s the type of person I can count on. She’s a responsible person because she never lets anyone down and she never breaks her promises. Whenever I’m in trouble for various reasons, and need help, she’s the kind of person I’d ask. Another example of her living up to the responsible trait is once when I was younger, I fell off my bike and I scraped my knee, and I was crying. As soon as she heard me she came outside to see what was wrong and she took me inside, plus she put on some medicine. Plus, she put a bandage on my knee.

Cheyenne is mentally strong in many ways. All throughout her life; people would make fun of her and try to bring her down but she never let anyone’s remarks get to her head. An example of her being mentally strong is keeping her head high, people would constantly make fun of her and call her names, but she didn’t pay attention to them at all. She doesn’t let other people defeat her or make or break her; she stays strong for very long. She doesn’t even care what other people think about her. The only person’s opinion that matters is hers. If she lets people bring her down and break her down, she wouldn’t be the strong girl that she is today. She believes that the people who mind don’t matter; and those who matter don’t mind.

She is willing to sacrifice for others at anytime. No matter what the situation. If someone’s in more trouble than her, and needs something, she’ll sacrifice for them. She’s always thinks about others before herself. She’s willing to sacrifice anything for me; if it wasn’t for her, then I wouldn’t have the things I have today. An example of her sacrificing for me is giving up her old toys and clothes to me.

Cheyenne is a great friend when it comes to standing up for others. Whenever someone is messing with me, she’ll stick up for me and solves the situation peacefully. She always has her friend’s and family’s backs. She always stands up for me when I’m stuck in sticky situations that I need assistance in. She always backs people up through everything, no matter what. If you ask me she’s an amazing friend. An example of her standing up for others is when this one kid was picking on our little sister, and she wouldn’t stop; but Cheyenne talked to the kid, asked in the most peaceful way, and stood up for her, and she left her alone finally.

Cheyenne lives up to being trustworthy because she’s a person who’s known for keeping people’s secrets and promises. She never breaks promises, they are very important to her. I tell her everything and I know I can trust her with anything. She’s one of the people I trust the most. An example of her being trustworthy is once when I told her something that only me and her knew, and I made her pinky promise not to tell anyone; and she didn’t. She’s a very reliable person when it comes down to trust.

My sister is loyal because she never breaks any of her promises. Also, because when she says she’s going to do something; she sticks to her word and does it. She’s very reliable and a person you can count on when it comes to promises. Promises are a big deal in her life. She’s a type of person who always sticks to her word no matter what. Whenever I make a promise; I know she’s keeping it.

The last trait she lives up to is being determined. She’s determined because she never gives up. She’ll keep working and working until what she wants is achieved. She’s dedicated to her dreams, big time. She doesn’t let anything stand in her way. She’ll keep trying and trying, no matter how hard or rough it gets, because she knows it’s worth it. She’s just a person of determination. Nothing can stands in the way of her and her dreams.

In conclusion, my sister Cheyenne is a huge hero and role model to me in many ways. She consists of many hero traits, but to me the most important are responsible, mentally strong, willing to sacrifice, stands up for others, trustworthy, loyal, and determined as you can see; I love her to death and she’s my older sister. Also, one of the most important people I look up to.

My sister.
I love my older sister Cheyenne.
She doesn’t lie a lot.
If I was about to get shot; she’d take the bullet for me.
She’s amazing for goodness sakes.
She makes me happy.
She’s herself; not fake.
Take it or leave it.
She stands up for what she believes in.
She follows her heart, no matter what.
Doesn’t let anything stand in her way of getting what she wants.
She doesn’t give up on anything.
She works for what she wants.
She tries her hardest through everything.
She stays strong for very long.
She doesn’t let anyone make her or break her.
She doesn’t let anyone’s words break her down.
Basically; she’s just a simple girl trying to find her place in this big world.

Extra Info

Cheyenne Joel was born on March 29th in Naperville at Edward’s hospital. She grew up in Romeoville and Joliet, Illinois; and she still lives in Joliet to this day. Her childhood was a fun time period of her life. She was a happy kid, and she spent a lot of her time playing outside. She didn’t care much for anything really when she was a child. She just had a good time being a kid and doing the normal things kid do. When she was younger, she wanted to be a lawyer; but now that she’s older in age, she wants to work to become a makeup artist.

Her biggest hero growing up was her mother because she’s a strong woman, and she handles anything that is thrown at her. Cheyenne started her first job at Syls; it’s a restaurant, she’s been working there for eight months and still works there to this day. She says it’s like one big family, its fun. Her biggest obstacle she faced was getting sick of her job and thinking about quitting; but she decided to deal with the tiredness, and stay there. She’s attended many different schools; she’s attended R.C Hill, M.J Cunningham, Hufford Middle School, Joliet Central High School, and Premier. Premier is the school she currently attends; she’s currently a sophomore at Premier Academy. She graduated eighth grade in June, 2006 from Hufford Middle School.

While growing up, she was a strong girl and didn’t let anyone’s rude remarks get to her head. The person who influenced her the most is Tom because he’s a hard worker and she wants to be like that when she’s older. He doesn’t let other people bring him down from getting what he wants and he doesn’t give up on his dreams, he didn’t stop until he got what he wanted out of life. That’s the kind of person she wants to grow up to be. She handles difficult situations the best way possible. She tries to solve her problems without yelling or getting angry. She tries her best to stay calm and relaxed. She also solves it without screaming or anything like that; she handles things well.

Another important person who influenced her in her life was her birth father, Joseph. Even though he passed away when she was a very young girl, she doesn’t forget about him. She strives to make the best out of her life, just for him, of course she wishes she could see him today, but she knows he’d be proud of her.

She’s a hard worker; so basically that’s her strength, and her weakness is yummy food. There’s a few more important dates in her life, the first is November 6th; the day her first little sister was born. The two other dates are September 3rd; and May 12th; when her two other little sisters were born. These are important dates because she became a big sister to three little sisters. The last date is March 29th; and that was her sweet sixteen birthday. That was the biography of Cheyenne Joel.
