I chose as a hero a member of the Argentine Coast Guard. They are brave and their job is very tiresome because they are always, and all day long aware about other boats to go slowly and they are also trying to keep everyone safe.
My hero is a member of the coast guard. I chose him because once my parents and I went to the river to have a ride on a boat. After having lunch they allowed me to go to drive the jet –ski alone. I did one of the turns so quickly and abruptly that I fell to the water. Some people who were watching everything from the shore saw that I was nearly going to drown, so they immediately called the coast guard. I was trying to swim to the shore, but it was useless due to the current that was flowing against me. In a second they were there. One of them jumped into the water and grabbed me. We swam together to their boat. They picked me up and wrapped me up in towels and took me to my parents with the jet-ski tied up with a rope behind us. Then, I realized that he had risked his life for me.
This person is very important to me because he risked his life to save me in a moment of complete trouble and he cared about me. They make a great difference in my life and in other people’s lives because they care about everybody being all day long aware of what could happen in the river.
This person is not a hero like others; he is very special to me and he is really, very brave. He is a survivor hero because he saved me and saved other people in many other occasions. He can also be considered a hero on the spot because he was there when I needed him.
All in all, I consider this man my personal hero because he made a great change in my life and he saved me in a moment of complete trouble for me and took a lot of care.
