My heroes are the members of the alternative rock band Coldplay from London. Coldplay is composed of Chris Martin on lead vocals and piano, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and Drummer Will Champion. Chris Martin was born 1977 in Devon and he is married with Gwyneth Paltrow. They have two children. Jonny Buckland was also born 1977 in London and Guy Berryman and Will Champion were born 1978.

They all know each other from the time at University College London and in 1996 they founded the band. Since then they had three international successful albums: Parachutes, A rush of blood to the head and X&Y. They do not only produce very good music, but they are also involved with Fair Trade and they are supporters of Amnesty International. Coldplay was also widely noted in the media for their claim to give 10% of their band's profits to charity. So I’m impressed by their music and their engagement although they don’t influence me and my community.
