Jim Czajkowski (AKA James Clemens/James Rollins)

To me, a hero is somebody who does good deeds and asks for nothing in return. A hero is also somebody who is a good role model for other people. Heroes also are well respected. This is why I picked James Clemens as my hero.

James Clemens/Rollins has written many books. He has a five book series under the pen name of James Clemens. Under the name James Rollins, he has five different books. Overall, he has written ten books and is working on Shadowfall, a new series under Clemens, and under Rollins he is working on his new book Sandstorm.

Currently, Jim lives in Sacramento, CA. He has a doctorate in veterinary medicine and had a job as a vet until he had to decide to take up writing. He grew up with three brothers and three sisters. He was raised in the midwest and in rural Canada. His dad was a foreman for a canning plant and his mother was a housewife. When he was young, he took in stray dogs and other animals, which led to his interest in veterinary medicine.

I picked Jim for my hero because he writes very good books. He is also a good person because he will mail you his autograph to make you happy if you request one. Overall, he is a really nice guy and will make your day just for the sake of it. That is what a hero is to me.
