Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore is my hero! Yes, she has been through hard times as a teenager and a child, but now look at her! She used to do illegal drugs, but she stopped and recovered at so young! How is she my hero? Because how often do you hear of an amazing women like her who recovers to become a good role model and keep her career as an actress and a film producer? My idea of a hero is someone who is a good person to look up to, and someone who you can depend on. That would definitely be Drew!

Drew Barrymore was born on February 22, 1975 in Culver City, CA and still lives there today! What is she doing in California? She is working as an actress/film producer! How did she start her career? She was in a dog food commercial! Her first Best- Selling movie was E.T. The Extra Terrestrial. Throughout the following years, she starred in many other films: Poison Ivy, Scream, The Wedding Singer, Never Been Kissed, Charlie's Angels 1&2, 50 First Dates, and her most recent video, Music and Lyrics, where she starred as Sophie Fisher.

Drew Barrymore is related to famous people. She is the great-niece of Lionel Barrymore, Ethel Barrymore, and Helene Costello. Everybody has always said Drew resembles her father, John Drew Barrymore.

Drew is also my hero because she resembles what a woman should be, not stick- thin. She is incredible to me because usually when you grow up with a messed up childhood, you never get over it. She may not be over it, but she definitely didn't let it ruin her. If I could be anybody famous, the first person on my list would certainly be her. She is an amazing actress and a good person to look up to.
