Heroes are wonderful people. Some people even risk their life to save others. To me, a real hero is someone who is brave and always tries to look at the good side of situations. Also someone who is loving and a hard worker. A hero has to be someone who loves what they do and has a positive attitude. Also once someone is saved by a hero, they will know how good it feels to know that someone does really care. So the next time you hear about a hero, think how you could be just like them. I think anyone can be a hero if they put their mind to it.
I can think of one person that fits all of these characteristics. That person is my Dad, Dave Boehmer. My dad is a ER doctor at Dublin Methodist Hospital. Dave Boehmer is very brave and would do anything to keep our family and others safe at all times. When being a doctor you have to be brave because you never know what will be thrown at you next. Also Dr. Boehmer is very caring and cares for each and every patient that comes to the ER. A hero can be young or old, smart or dumb, all that matters is that they love what they do and is happy while doing it.
My dad would do anything to help save someone and would do it with a good attitude. Having a good attitude is another trait for a hero. Dr. Boehmer believes that you should always finish what you have started. Dave Boehmer is a hard worker and will try to the best of his ability to help everyone know matter what is going on with he or she. Also a hero needs to be kind to everyone. My dad is kind to the patients and his family. He tries to provide as much as he can to help anyone no matter what the situation. My dad, or Dr. Boehmer, or Dave Boehmer whatever you call him, is MY hero.
