David Brummett

Do you have a hero? I do and his name is David Brummett, or dad. He is like a hero to me because he tried out for a police academy to become a police man for schools in the Clark county.

Although he didn't make it I believe he will make the academy in the future. I'm proud of him for even trying out because police have to go through a lot of training and being a police officer is very dangerous.

Although he did not make it he has a security job and he almost got killed! Because this guy was drunk and thew a rock the size of a softball and this other drunk guy came and said "dont make me get my gun out of my apartment" and he ran up the stairs and went in the got scared but he had no gun.The next day he was near the same apartments and the guy said "im sorry i was a little drunk last night" and they thought it was a trap but all he did was shake hands with my dad and his partner.

I'm glad he didn't get killed because he he like one of my family/friends and he is always there for me when im sick or sad . Although he did not make it he is like a personal police officer to me and my sisters and brothers.

One more thing mom, if your reading this you are also my hero and i love you the same as dad but i had a few words to say about dad for being brave and proud.
