Daniel Hernandez Jr. is a Mexican-American paramedic in Tuscon, Arizona. He was born and raised there in 1990. His mother, Consuelo, was from Mexico. His dad, Daniel Hernandez Sn., was from California. Daniel Hernandez became US intern for the congresswoman of Arizona, Gabby Giffords.

Mrs. Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head on January 8, 2011 when the Tuscon Massacre happened. But then Daniel Hernandez was coming to save the congresswoman's life and gave her first aid assisstance. Gabby Giffords survived because of Daniel Hernandez's heroic actions.

Daniel Hernandez is a hero for saving her life when the Tuscon Massacre happend on January 8, 2011 in Tuscon, Arizona. Mr. Daniel Hernandez Jr. is thanked for all the heroic things he has done throughout his life. We thank him.
