Demi Lovato

My hero is Demi Lovato. Her birth name is Demetria Devonne Lovato. Demi was born on August 20, 1992 to Patrick Lovato and Dianna Hart. They divorced and Dianna got re-married to Eddie De La Garza. She grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. While she was growing up she had many many struggles. Those struggles were: she was bullied and had a dramatic eating disorder.
The heroic act she did was she was able to overcome everything. Demi was cutting herself and she decided she didn't want to be like that anymore. She went to rehab BY CHOICE and she came back happy and proud.She proved everyone wrong, everybody who told her she wasn't good enough, or ever bullied her.
Demi Lovato has made an impact on me because she showed that she can be proud of who she is and how she looks. She got a tattoo on each wrist. They say "Stay Strong" each word is on the opposite wrist. Demi has taught me to be happy how you are, and to show them you're proud to be you and not to discourage yourself.
Demi Lovato is a hero because she doesn't care about what people think of her. Demi can proudly do whatever she wants and say whatever because she knows what she says and does is just how she is and if they don't like it then she doesn't care. Demi does say what she thinks and that is because she knows that her fans care about her and can back her up and be there for her.
