Dion Phaneuf

Dion Phaneuf is not a hero to a lot of people but he is my hero because he inspired me to play hockey and work my hardest. I want to be like him when I'm older. Dion Phaneuf is brave because hockey is a rough sport.He shows sportsmanship every game and practice. Dion is my hero because he works hard all the time and he is the captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Dion Phaneuf was born in 1985 on April 10th. He started skating at two years old. He has a brother named Dane and his dad's name is Paul. His brother started skating when he was 2 years old. Now they both play in the NHL.

Hi dad and his friends influenced him to play hockey. They wanted him to do his best every game and practice. He didn't think he could make it. At first he wasn't the captain. So he worked extra hard and he became the captain.

He got drafted to Toronto in 2009. He has won 3 Stanly Cups. My hero would work hard every practice and game. He is the best hockey player on the team. He played hard every practice and game. It looked so fun so I started playing too.

My hero is brave because hockey is a rough sport. He is optimistic because he hopes he wins his games.He is nice because he gave my friend a $300 stick. He is rich because he plays in the NHL and he is the captain. He is good at hockey because he works hard.

He influenced me to play hockey. He influenced to work hard. He influenced me to work really really hard and go to every practice and game. He influenced me to watch hockey. He influenced me to never give up.
