Definition: To me a hero is someone that you admire or someone that you look up to as a person. This could be someone that you look up to athletically or if that person does a job that you admire. Even if that person is just a kind person they can be your hero, just as long as it is someone important to you in your life.

Opinion: Yes, it is important to have a hero because there needs to be someone that you can look to for advice or even a shoulder to cry on.

My Personal Hero: Lots of people say that their hero is a famous athlete or a movie star but those people aren’t heroes. Heroes are the people that are in our every day lives. My personal hero is my father. He started out as a child with not the best life. When he was young he decided he was going to make something of himself so he did good in school, was manager as a teenager at large companies and now is a successful realtor. That is how he fits my definition because he started with nothing, and decided to make something of himself.

Hall of fame: This man that I am speaking of should be inducted into the Hero Hall of fame for he is an honest and good man. He watches out for others and puts others first and then himself. He has a job that he loves and is good at and keeps doing what he does to make his clients interested in a deal. He is a man who cares for his family. He is a supporter and does what he needs to for us to get through these tough times in our country. He is also a friend, and is there to always lend a hand or give some encouragement. This man has the right and honor to be inducted into the class of 2010 Hero Hall of Fame.

Who’s your hero's hero? From my interview with my father i have learned a lot of things. I have learned that he doesn't even have a hero for he wants to be his own person and that he does consider himself to be a hero for he can teach and still do what he teaches like when he coaches. He considers a hero to be someone that puts others before he puts himself. To help society he said that if humanly possible he would adopt every homeless child and take them in for it breaks his heart. He also loves his job for he doesn't take orders and loves when someone say thanks here and there. It really just makes his day. Finally, I have learned that he wants to find a way to feed every person in the world and have a safe place to live in the future. I respect him for he has a good heart and always does the right thing.
