Derek Jeter is my favorite baseball player because he has an amazing amount of skill and he is very classy. Derek Jeter is currently on what is the most hated team in baseball: the New York Yankees. Although he is on the Yankees, it is very hard to hate him because he shows so much respect for the game of baseball. He has inspired me and many others to strive for what we want and play the game of baseball with class and respect.
