My hero’s name is Dakota Roche, nickname DAK. He is a professional freestyle BMX rider. Dakota’s hometown is Huntington Beach, California and that’s where he currently lives. He was born on July 21, 1987.

Dakota Roche is a young rider who has an aggressive yet dialed style. He often exaggerates his tricks giving them extra extension, height and motion in general. He lands his tricks solid, both tires, no slip ups, all-around dialed in. He has many sponsors.

The reason he is my hero is because he has done so much for BMX and I look up to him when I ride. When he goes for a trick and doesn’t land it he gets back up and tries again till he lands it. He never gives up or quits unless he gets hurt but even then that might not stop him.

Dakota is also a very nice guy; the only time he really gets mad is when he falls on a trick that he knows how to do. Dakota Roche is a huge name to BMX. He has several of videos of him riding in the links below.
