Have you heard about Daewon Song? Well if you haven’t then you will determine who he is. He was born in 1975 as David Daewon Song. He was born in Seoul, South Korea.

At the age of 16, an important skateboard company sponsored Daewon Song. He was with them for about nine years till he left to start his own skateboard company in 1999. It closed down in 2002 because It failed to grow. It's my goal to have a Skateboard company sponsor me by the time I turn 16, to follow in the steps of my hero. Daewon Song won skater of the year in 2006, which is my dream. Daewon Song has donated clothes to children in need. Daewon Song also owns a skateboard company with Rodney Mullen. I want to at least co-own a skateboard company.

Daewon Song can be very giving by helping children in need. He is extraordinarily daring by skating colossal obstacles. Daewon Song has skated things people have never even considered. Daewon Song is also tremendously technological with his skateboarding tricks. He has influenced me to skate like him.

Daewon Song has influenced me to give to children in need if I can. My goals are to succeed in skateboarding as he does. My dream is to do at least half the things he has done.

Daewon Song is my hero because when he skate he is fearless, and that’s how I am. He has proven to me that anything can happen if you work hard enough. If you have a dream that’s possible, just practice hard and it could happen.
