My Mom |
I picked my mom as my hero because she is an amazing woman. She deserves every hero award there is. This woman has helped me through some rough and difficult times. I don't know where I would be without her. Not only is she my hero but she is a wonderful mom, and great listener, a very inspirational and motivational person. My mom is my hero because she is someone that inspires me to do my best, someone that I can look up to and someone that truly understands me. She is my mentor, my rock and my support system. A mother's love is rare and wonderful and that can never be replaced. She has been nothing but influential and the center of my universe. She never fails to force a smile on my face and inspire me to greatness. My mom is currently working at a nursing home in Fremont New Hampshire. She is going to Nursing school to be an RN. She is the one who pushed me and inspired me proceed on going MCC College to become a physical therapist.

An example of why my mom is my hero is because she has been a single for over 10 years and she not only has me but my brother. She always has a positive vibe and she is always there when we need her. She never fails to provide food and supplies/materials that me and brother need. For an example my mom works 11pm to 7 am everyday, and since my brother was in 6th he has been playing sports, so my mom tries hard to focus on getting sleep, going to school and driving to my brother's games and practices. That just shows true dedication and shows what a wonderful mom is willing to do for her kids.

Usually when you think of hero you think of a
strong and brave male, putting himself in situation to save a person or
a cat. I asked my mom if she could define what a hero was in her own
words and she said that "a hero is a person who defines themselves as a
hero. I don't think I'm a hero all the time but I have done some heroic
things in my life". I remember one time me and my mom were at the
Stadium Park in Haverhill Mass and we were there for about 3 hours. We
were walking back to the car about to leave and I saw a wallet on the
ground so I picked it up and I opened it and noticed there was a hundred
dollar bill in it. I was about to take it because I was broke and I
thought God was being nice to me that day but my mom, being the hero she
is, forced me to put the money back in the wallet. She grabbed the
wallet and searched in it to see if she could find an ID or any proof of
address. She found a license and it belong to some guy so she searched
up his address and come to find out he lived 30 minutes away so we drove
all the way there to return his wallet. It might be small deed but it
just shows that mom is a true hero, and that just is inspired to always
do good deeds, and be kind.

My mom is a very outgoing person, she likes to ride bikes (not so much hikes) but is very adventurous. She also loves going to the gym and working out. She goes almost every day of the week. She did this obstacle course for her work, and honestly I don't know how she did it because I couldn't. It was long and she got to conquer her fear of swimming in a lake. We also went on a bike trip on these trails from Salem to Derry. This is a picture of me, my dad and mom in New York for the first time when I was about 11. My mom has always liked to travel. The last trip we went to was Washington DC.My mom used to work at KFC in Brooklyn. She is also in love with Usher, has been collecting his CD's since 2007. She is very outgoing and loves to cook and she loves her job. Everyone at her job admires her, the patients love her.
