My Hero is DeNasia. She is 11 years old and attends the same school I do. DeNasia is perky, funny, and always there to cheer someone up. She is also my best friend.

I just met DeNasia in my 6th grade year, but it seems like I have known her forever. Whenever I need a helping hand, DeNasia is always there. DeNasia is very quiet, but when she cheers she is the loudest one on the field. She is a Banner roll student. She encourages everyone to do their best. She was also Fox 29's Student of the Month in which she was honored for making good grades in school and for setting good examples for others.

The reason why I chose DeNasia as my hero is because she is like a sister to me. Even though I have many friends, she is the one who stands out. DeNasia and I take English Language Arts together, and we are in a very small class of seven. Whenever I don't understand something, she helps me. I guess you could say that DeNasia is my own little tutor. Even though she is younger than me I still learn from her. She is the type of girl that can still smile when she is hurt, and I try to be like that. It is obvious why I chose DeNasia as my hero.
