Hugs can do a great amount of good, especially for children....Quote by Princess Diana. Princess Diana was a role model for everyone. Princess Diana did many great things in her life. She was always bringing smiles to children and people around the world; weather she was visiting sick children in a hospital or she was a patron or president of over 100 charities. I think it says something when more than 1 million people came to her funeral and further more 2.5 million people watched it world wide on television. She was loved. She is someone to look up too; I know she can be someone I can look up to.

Princess Diana was a wonderful woman. Princess Diana was born in 1961 and died in 1997. She was a mother to two sons, William and Harry. Princess Diana was the Princess of Wales. She lived in England. She is a hero because of all her courageous, kind work she did. One of Diana’s biggest funds was to clear land mines. Now since her death, 750 million dollars has been committed to the mine action. She raised awareness to the people of the world on this issue.

Princess Diana is considered a hero to others near and far. In Hero’s Trail by T.S. Barron, a hero to others near and far is someone who helps a local charity or they help in another country with a mission project. Princess Diana has helped her country by being a role model and a mother to two well raised boys. She has supported charities in other countries. She helped with Aids patients, made many trips to different homeless shelters all over, and was in a campaign fighting against land mines. This shows the qualities of a hero to others near and far.

Sadly, Princess Diana died in a car acident on Aug. 31st 1997. She will always be rememberd as a kind, outgoing person. She was and always will be a role model to others near and far.
