Doctor

My heroes are doctors. A doctor has to have confidence to perform an operation, a good attitude towards the patient, intelligence to learn what he has to learn to be a doctor. They work hard to achieve their goals.

The doctors have saved many people’s lives, as my brother’s and father’s. Once my father had broken the ligament of his knee and needed an operation. The operation was successful and so… now he can walk correctly. My brother fell and broke his chin and they sewed it up and put back the bones in the place where they belonged to. A doctor too, sewed up my forehead.

I can compare a doctor with Mr. Ages form the book Mrs. Frisby and The Rats of Nimh because he was a doctor. Doctors help when you are injured like Mr. Ages helped Bruts when he had inhaled the toxic air. They understand the meaning of help.

Doctors are heroes near and far because most people I know think that a doctor is an everyday hero. They are a really important part of our civilian life.

Doctors always come to work with compassion towards their patients. I am really proud of the students which have chosen to be doctors because if it hadn't been for them I wouldn’t still be alive. I give thank to all the people around the world who are doctors too. I hope that after reading this essay doctors would be your heroes too!
