It is a helper robot which was sent from the 22nd century to the present age so that "SEWASHI" of a great-grand child of Nobita can save useless ancestor, Nobita. However, it is not very high-performance, and it is a good scatter-brain. Its robot training school record seems to have been bad, too. A lot of used goods and poor products cannot help when using a secret tool in a four-dimensional pocket in the case of emergency, too. Relations between Doraemon and Nobita are close friends now. His laziness has to be overcome to save Nobita. How about his one mission to bring up Nobita magnificently?

When Doraemon was born as one of the mass production type cat type robots on September 3, 2112, there was an ear, and a body the color of yellow. When it was in a house of SEWASHI, which is a grandchild of a grandchild of Nobita, its ear was bitten stolen by a mouse robot. While it cried in shock, its yellow plating came off by vibration, and blue of a colour of the ground crops out. It becomes the present figure.
