Professor Hesabi
Professor Mahmoud Hessaby was born in 1903 in Tafresh, Iran, he lived 89 years and died in 1992. During his life he lived, studied and worked in different countries. In his early years of life he went to Lebanon, where he completed secondary school and studied Civil Engineering, Mathematics, History, Literature, Biology and Astronomy. He then went to Paris and studied Electrical and Mining Engineering and received degrees for them. Then he finally turned to physics and at the age of 25 he received his Ph.D. with giving a paper entitled "sensitive photoelectric cells" in this field. He once said that "I went first into medicine, then into Engineering and then I decided that it was physics, which could keep me busy and captivate me". He then went to Princeton, U.S.A. to work on his theory. After the completion of his work he went back to Iran, and greatly contributed to the development and modernization of his country.
Founded of Tehran University College and modern science, Written many books and pamphlets Founded physics and modern engineering in iran .then He became known as the father of physics in Iran. he memorized the Quran and had strong belief in it. And he had also memorized Hafez's Divan (an Iranian poetry). Professor knew five living languages Persian, French, English, German and Arabic plus he knew Sanskrit, Latin, Greek, Pahlavi, Avestan, Turkish and Italian that he used for his etymological studies "Professor Hesabi was the first and only Iranian student of Professor Albert Einstein and was known to be his favorite student Professor Hesabi has several important theories in physics that the most important and the last of them was " theory of infinite particle" .
I select him as my hero because: D.R was born in a weak family without the best Features but he study and tried very much in his life and never tired of study . D.R Hesabi used of his little time and I think he never stopped and Always moved forward and finally succeeded . but he sometimes went to Travel and leisure. and after his Success he didn't forget god and he was not arrogant.
