Ellyn Found

Ellyn Found: mother, friend, volunteer, tutor, and many more things. Ellyn has helped out with many things in her life, helped out with many lives, helped people get through many things, and changed a lot of lives. And this is why she is our hero.

Ellyn was born in Binhampton, New York. She now lives in Iowa City, Iowa. She is married to Dr. Ernest Found and is the mother to three children: Greg Found, who now works at ESPN, and two daughters, Catharine who goes to Trinity in Texas, and Caroline who is a junior at Iowa City West High School in Iowa City. Besides keeping up with her own busy life, Ellyn still devotes her time to help others besides her family.

Ellyn is one of our best friend's mom. She has had many jobs in her life but also has changed many lives besides her own. Ellyn has worked in the hospital a lot of her life, as a job and just volunteering. Along with the hospital she has come along to schools (mainly our junior high and high school) and helped kids with work, kids with struggles, and kids with their school work. Ellyn is always a phone call, text, or drive away if you need her. Many kids in our school know this. Whether you need advice, help with homework, or just to talk to someone, Ellyn is always there to help and listen. She also gives you a place to stay if you have nowhere else to go. She gives up a lot of time, money, food, and her house to people that need it most.

Ellyn has devoted a lot of her time and effort into making sure people live a good life and work to the best of their abilities. She is always honest, tells you what she thinks is best for you to do, and never wants less than you can give. She has influenced our lives and lives of many other people and will continue to until she is no longer capable. And that is why she is a hero.
