Erin Hunter is someone to admire. Over the past few years, she has worked hard on two different book series, one called "Warriors", and one called "Seekers". She also has an on going manga series based on her Warriors books.

Something interesting about Erin is that she is not just one, or two, but THREE people. The authors, Vicky Holmes, Cherith Baldry, and Kate Cary had decided to go under one name though, so their readers wouldn't get confused about who wrote the series. They all take turns writing the different books.

The Warriors series is about four clans of wild cats who must fight and hunt if their clans are to survive. In one of the books, the clans have to unite to battle a deadly new clan called BloodClan, but most of the time they do not form alliances. Some of the main characters are Firestar, Sandstorm, Spottedleaf, Crowfeather, Leafpool, Squirrelflight, and many others.

The Seekers series is about three different bears, one a black bear, one a grizzly bear, and one a polar bear. They each have to go through many adventures which finally bring them together, so that they can all work together to reach their ultimate goal.

The manga series is wonderful,too. My favorite is " The Rise of Scourge",which follows the adventures of a helpless, tiny kitten as he turns into a vicious, deadly tyrant over time. Other mangas by Hunter are The Graystripe mangas, The Sasha and Tigerstar mangas, and hopefully more soon!
